Remote Sales Team Leader – Life Insurance

Location: 100% Remote (U.S. Based Only)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and driven Sales Team Leader to build, mentor, and lead a remote team of life insurance sales professionals. This role blends hands-on sales leadership with coaching, performance management, and team development.

The ideal candidate brings a strong background in sales, proven leadership capability, and a genuine interest in developing high-performing teams. Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Development

  • Recruit, onboard, and manage a team of life insurance sales representatives

  • Provide ongoing coaching, performance feedback, and professional development support

  • Foster a collaborative, accountability-driven, and goal-oriented team culture

Sales Strategy & Execution

  • Implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed team revenue goals

  • Monitor individual and team performance, using data to identify improvement opportunities

  • Lead by example through active participation in sales activities and client engagements

Client Relationship Management

  • Ensure high-quality client interactions and consistent service standards

  • Support team members in navigating complex client needs and scenarios

  • Maintain long-term client relationships to encourage retention and referrals

Training & Continuous Improvement

  • Conduct regular training sessions on sales techniques and industry best practices

  • Keep the team informed on regulatory updates, product changes, and company policies

  • Identify skill gaps and provide targeted coaching to elevate team performance


Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a sales leadership role, preferably within life insurance or financial services

  • Strong sales background with a consistent record of meeting or exceeding performance targets

  • Excellent communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to analyze performance data and implement strategic improvements

  • Highly self-motivated, organized, and capable of leading a fully remote team
