We are seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Team Leader to recruit, develop, and manage a team of remote life insurance professionals. This role combines sales leadership, coaching, and performance management and is well suited for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment and are passionate about developing others.

As a Sales Team Leader, you will be responsible for driving team performance, maintaining high standards of client service, and supporting continued growth through effective leadership and strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Development

  • Recruit, train, and manage a team of remote sales representatives

  • Provide ongoing coaching, mentorship, and performance feedback

  • Foster a collaborative, accountable, and results-oriented team culture

Sales Strategy & Performance Management

  • Implement and execute sales strategies to drive consistent revenue growth

  • Monitor individual and team performance metrics and provide data-driven guidance

  • Lead by example through direct sales activity and client engagement when needed

Client Experience & Relationship Management

  • Ensure a high standard of professionalism and client satisfaction across the team

  • Support team members in handling complex client needs and objections

  • Promote retention and referral growth through strong relationship-building practices

Training & Continuous Improvement

  • Conduct regular training on sales techniques, products, and best practices

  • Communicate updates related to policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

  • Identify skill gaps and implement targeted development plans to improve performance

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a sales leadership role, preferably within life insurance or financial services

  • Strong sales background with a demonstrated record of meeting or exceeding performance goals

  • Excellent communication, coaching, and leadership skills

  • Ability to effectively manage and motivate a fully remote team

  • Organized, self-motivated, and performance-focused
